Stax marquee has retrieved its "Stax O' Wax"
sign (Joe Pusateri, August 2002). William
"Nokie" Taylor was one of the regular Stax
Session horn players (cornet,trumpet) as well as being
one of Isaac Hayes' band members for most of the
seventies (John M. Lind, July 13 at the Blues City Cafe
on Beale Street). |
