Composed of John Gary Williams, William Brown, Julius Green and Robert Philips, they first recorded from 1965 for Stax. Ace Records has re-issued on CD their first LP as well as every recording (except Surf Jerk, shame on Ace !) that they did for Stax in the "blue" era.
