BIOGRAPHY

The guitarist who introduced Otis Redding to Stax. With his band The Pinetoppers, he had previously recorded for Tifco in Atlanta. Later on, he had a fine LP on Atlantic. This one and only single for Stax was only issued two years after Otis' legendary recording of These Arms Of Mine. He died on June 25, 2006 at 67.
