The light still shines: one of the two big Stax neon signs that stood on the top of the Stax studio's marquee has been restaured and installed inside the Rum Boogie Cafe in Beale Street, Memphis (Photo thanks to Derek Bland).

William Bell and Prentiss Anderson, 15th December 2000 in Chattanooga TN. Ron Williams (co-owner of ASP Records, no connection with Stax pianist Ronnie Williams) , William Bell, Bobby Q Day (Chattanooga DJ) and Prentiss Anderson. Prentiss  sang in the Del Rios with William Bell in 1959-61, at the very beginning of Stax/Satellite and had a great career at Tamla Motown. (both photos courtesy Ron Williams).
